Feedback
GDHS workshop participants agree that they experienced a space to self reflect, engaged in a fun skill, and a were given a lens to see how biblical principles can apply to everyday life during the workshop.
The “Good Deeds” in GDHS has a focus on learning how to live a generous life. We want to expose participants to a variety of ways of being generous. We will host and participate in events where we can be generous with our time, services, education, and finances. We believe that when you live generously you learn to love generously.
When it comes to “High Speeds”, the hope of GDHS is that through STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, & Math) based workshops and events, individuals will discover a personal passion that they/we can continue to develop. Through the field of motorsport, participants will engage in independent and team-based activities. These activities will expose participants to a variety of trades, skills, programs, equipment, and people. With an open mind and an open heart, we believe every participant has the potential to discover something new about themselves.
Praise the Lord!
How joyful are those who fear the Lord and delight in obeying his commands.
Their children will be successful everywhere; an entire generation of godly people will be blessed.
They themselves will be wealthy, and their good deeds will last forever.
Light shines in the darkness for the godly. They are generous, compassionate, and righteous.
Good comes to those who lend money generously and conduct their business fairly.
Such people will not be overcome by evil. Those who are righteous will be long remembered.
They do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the Lord to care for them.
They are confident and fearless and can face their foes triumphantly.
They share freely and give generously to those in need. Their good deeds will be remembered forever. They will have influence and honor.
The wicked will see this and be infuriated. They will grind their teeth in anger; they will slink away, their hopes thwarted.
Phase 1: Mobile Workshops
Sowing Seeds
We meet the community where they are. Our workshops are fully mobile and can be adapted to work in a wide range of environments. From outdoor landscapes to classroom-sized rooms, we will speak to the hearts and minds to everyone within hearing range (of everyone who has ears to hear).
Phase 2: Brick & Mortar
Planted and Taking Root
We will continue to meet people where they are and now we have a cultivated space to gather. From here, we will expand the genres of our workshops and services, equip leaders to serve, and foster community development through partnerships.
Phase 3: Support System
Fruitful and Multiplying
We do not want to be the only ones. As our leaders and participants grow into their own, we want to send them out with love and support. We will stay connected with our partners to be a part of a network of establishments that have the desire, understanding, and calling to share God's love with image bearers of God.
